Lawrence Technological University

Here is the link to the university’s web site:

Lawrence Technological University

LTU is located in Southfield, MI and offers both undergraduate and masters programs in several disciplines. The small size of the campus gives it a charm the can not be matched at the mega universities. For those people that have lost a job because of the current economy, consider looking into a certificate programs in File and TV.

I captured several photos of the campus on a bright blue sky day. The clouds provided a great back drop.

Detroit APBA Gold Cup

Here is a link to the Gold Cup site: Chrysler Jeep Superstores Detroit APBA Gold Cup

While waiting for the boats to do practice runs on the Detroit River near Belle Isle, I was able to capture some of the air show. The total show was done by one Navy training jet. Here are some of the photos taken:

The sea gulls also were excited by the loud and fancy flying.

Finally, this last shot was looking through the Bathhouse in the swimming area.

I did not stay to see the hydroplane boats, as they were delayed for some reason. As you can see, the day was hazy bright, but pleasant. The shots taken were with a Canon 40D and a Sigma 18-200 zoom.

African Town - Detroit

The term 'African Town' has caused many to comment and write about it. I have found the "Start of African Town" on Grand River Ave. in Detroit. Here are a few photos to prove it.

Is this art or ART? You decide.

The liberal use of glass, mirrors, paint, found items cover the old building on all four sides and top to bottom.
