Clouds

Black and White Clouds

We all love clouds against a blue sky, but clouds in black and white are just gray.
The gray creates a textured backdrop to the object being photographed.

Taggers

Tagging and Decay

As buildings are vacated and later become abandoned the elements soon take their toll on what once was a busy business. Taggers see this as an opportunity to practice their 'talents'.

These pictures were taken near Warren on the east side of Detroit in 2016.  I used Lightroom and Topaz Studio to create enhanced effects.

Music in the Motor City

Music on the street

Street musicians in Detroit often play their instruments in all kinds of weather. Their goal is to entertain you and hope to you will 'donate' to the 'cause'. My question is when and where did they learn to play and did they ever play with other musicians?

This photo was taken sometime in 2016 in Greektown.
